Data Collection and Privacy

Our mobile application collects the following information from users:

• Your user name for login purposes
• The display name of your choice to easily identify the people of the same group
• Encrypted password if your account has been created by the mobile application. If the account has been created through your gmail, or Facebook account, the password is not known by us
• Optionnaly, an avatar image, if you want to customize how other users of your group will see you
• Your GMT offset in order to adjust the counter time based on your location
• Your preferred language for email communication: either French, or English as roll-back
• All data related to the counters you create or use (name of the counter, date and time of its creation and date and time of each value update). These elements are needed to produce quality charts
• Some technical data that we use to monitor the app's health, in case of crash. More specifically, your device brand, OS version, date and time of crash. These data are automatically deleted after 90 days

As per the terms of use, all collected data is stored in an encrypted manner, for the sole purpose of the service and is never shared with any third parties.

Your account and all its related data may be deleted through the mobile app (menu / profile / top left icon).

Alternatively, you can ask us to detroy your account by sending us an email, through the button below. This will open your email client with a pre-composed email to "info 'at' shared-counter.fr" with the subject "delete my account data for shared counter mobile app". Please don't forget to fill in the placeholder with your email address so your data can be retrieved. You'll receive a confirmation email from us within 5 working days once the deletion is completed.

Request Account Deletion
